Synthesis and Electrochemical Characterization of Sodium-Ion Battery Anode Carbon Biomassa Based on Sunflower Seed Husk (Helianthus annuus)

This study aimed to synthesize materials from the carbon biomass of sunflower seed husk (Helianthus annuus) for sodium ion battery anode. A simple carbonization process was carried out by roasting. The chemical activation conducted adding KOH as much 4 M in 100 mL water solution 20 hours. Then drying done oven at a temperature 100°C hours, and then continued with sintering 900°C 2 sintered results were washed hydrothermal hours 200°C H2O2 1 EG 50 Teflon. resulting acid degree neutralized (pH ~ 7) distilled dried powder pulverized using mortar pestle sieved on 325 mesh sieve. Anode sheets prepared mixing active ingredients : PVDF Super-P composition 85 10 5 DMAC solvent. Electrochemical characterization testing see performance. obtained EIS, CV, CD show that commercial hard is better.
